MERRY CHRISTMAS PEEPS!

best wishes to jeff and chel

this is the 2nd wedding event that i've attended this year... jeff, chel and i are barkadas since college. i can still remember their first year aniversary as a couple, they held it in jeff's place in cavite.. they made it really really special, they came up with a program and they even made give aways (souvenir), so to compliment with their moment..we provided a signature frame for them (diba bongga)..sarap lang isipin na they really meant for each other after all these years , i wish them all the best, happiness and blessings and children..now that they brought their love before God. congratulations to you guys...mwahhh..

this is one of the main events in Gerald's life (product specialist namin sa Sitel). today we attended his wedding held in fairview. the celebration suppose to start at 2 pm pero parang halos lahat medyo busy and na-late (dahil siguro kay manny) pati si bheng (his bride) so it started at around 3:30 na, buti nalang.. kasi late din kami eh...hehehe..

here are some of the pics i took.

the groom

the bride

the flower girl (little manette)

the most touching moment for me is when gerald sang while bheng is walking down the isle... hay grabe.. kaka-kilig.. i almost cried.

the abays

and their wacky pose

at the reception which is just right outside the church

table 5 and 12 (sitel group)

throwing of bouquet (si chinky and pinalad na makasalo...hehehe..)

taking the garter off which they made a bit exciting

tossing the garter, syempre si pee jay ang sumalo.. hihihi

ayun oh..yihhiii...

congratulations and best wishes!!!

crowning glory

i know that this is kind of late posting but i did it for a reason, it's exactly 1 week now when nizeth, phoebe, manette and i went to Victor Ortega Salon in Kalentong to have our hair rebonded.. nizeth recommended that salon because of the quality and its affordable fee. (",) they have senior hair stylists then every senior stylists have their own junior assistant stylists. they were jampack that time, as in customers, customers customers.. and they were running out of seats already, after about 30 min of waiting my name was called first, (pero dahil sa marami talagang tao, matagal din bago ako naasikaso) the stylist who was assigned to me is Fernando (they call him fern) i was just not able to take a picture of him..(sayang), well for me he's good, he's very accommodating and attentive to his customers inspite of the long queue. he was able to finish my hair in i think 3 hours only, the ironing part only took an hour i think which is kinda quick, but then they are the professionals so..hinayaan ko na.

this is how it looked like last saturday

and this is how it looks now after a week

i created this post just now for review and observation reasons, i want to see the outcome first without the salon's treatment and so far.. im happy... (",) aside from the flyaway edges are still there (sa style ng gupit na talaga), my only maintenance are shampoo every other day, conditioner everyday and fan dry as what fern advised me.

For people who are interested to their service, Victor Ortega Salon and Spa is located in (770 Gen. Kalentong St. Mandaluyong City) they have another branch in Shaw Blvd. and here's Fernando's # 09284558758 if you want him to be your stylist.

it's back!

finally after about a week of unstable internet connection, smart bro techs came and fix my line. i thought they're going to change the antenna, but fortunately they did not have to because according to them the access point where im getting the connection just got crowded and so they just need to change the source of my access point, which is really great because it was less hassle for everyone becasue i thought they need to go up through our roof and do all the work of changing the antenna. they just did some configurations on their server and after like 10 minutes, it's done! :) im connected again.. and ofcourse (for verifying the fix) i tried to recreate the problem (para sure diba), i restarted the pc then checked if ill be connected and it did, i shutdown then restart then tried to connect and it's still connecting so..good! i did offer them miryenda but there were really in a hurry because they need to visit another location for troubleshooting, so they just left..and im happy. (",)

NO connection!

it's been couple of days now with no internet connection at home, (that's why i cant update) bad trip talaga...im getting "Limited or No Connectivity". i phoned smart bro right away, did some troubleshootings. the tech told me that there might be something wrong with the NIC driver, and so i did reinstall the driver but no good. did system restore, no good.. so i ended up formatting my pc since it's been almost a year na rin the last time i format it. i phoned smart bro again, then what they told me is that the problem is with the antenna... ggrrrr... eh ni-reformat ko pa, bad trip talaga.. they said the antenna needs to be replaced, so e2 waiting pa rin ako but they still havent called me for the onsite service... hehehe... wala lng, it's just funny that i am now in my customer's shoe. so wait wait lang coz i know how it goes, but of course i need to follow up and follow up and follow up...haayyy...

if i could really be...

IF I WERE A BOY

If I were a boy

Even just for a day

I’d roll out of bed in the morning

And throw on what I wanted and go

Drink beer with the guys

And chase after girls I’d kick it with who I wanted

And I’d never get confronted for it

Because they’d stick up for me

If I were a boy

I think I could understand

How it feels to love a girl

I swear I’d be a better man

I’d listen to her

Cause I know how it hurts

When you lose the one you wanted

Cause he’s taken you for granted

And everything you had got destroyed

If I were a boy I would turn off my phone

Tell everyone it's broken

So they think that I was sleeping alone

I’d put myself first

And make the rules as I go

Cause I know that she’d be faithful

Waiting for me to come home

If I were a boy

I think I could understand

How it feels to love a girl

I swear I’d be a better man

I’d listen to her

Cause I know how it hurts

When you lose the one you wanted

Cause he’s taken you for granted

And everything you had got destroyed

It’s a little too late for you to come back

Say its just a mistake

Think I forgive you like that

If you thought I would wait for you

You thought wrong

But you're just a boy

You don’t understand (yea you don’t understand)

How it feels to love a girl

Someday you’ll wish you were a better man

You don’t listen to her

You don’t care how it hurts

Until you lose the one you wanted

Cause you've taken her for granted

And everything you had got destroyed

But you're JUST a boy…

helping hand

Hearing the words of God has always been a helping hand for me... and i thank Him for hearing me back and for giving me comfort at all times I need it.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,

for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I
will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

We can close our eyes

to things we don’t want to see,

but we can’t close our hearts

to things we don’t want to feel...

my first try

cooking trip nanaman ako today hehehe... and ofcourse seafood again. i bought 1/4 kilo of these sugpo and made it as shrimp tempura.

first I cooked the shrimp in a low fire pan with a bit of butter, parang halabos lang just to cook the meat.

then i prepared the breading, ive found out on the internet that egg makes the breading "doughy" and that to use cornstarch together with the flour and an ice water ('dont know why it needs to be an ice water) to make it look flakey and crispy, so NO egg.. and so i followed.

I flavor the breading with salt and a bit of magic sarap to taste..... and here how it looked like, somewhat similar na rin to a real tempura...hehehe, im so happy. the coating is also crispy, it just did not turn out to be the real flakey look because i did not deep fry it, pero pwede na rin...hihihi..

when u luv som1

this song has always been my favorite love song coz it describes what love really is for me.
When you LOVE someone - youll do anything
Youll do all the crazy things that you cant explain
Youll shoot the moon - put out the sun
When you LOVE someone
Youll deny the truth - believe a lie
There'll be times that you'll believe you can really fly
But your lonely nights - have just begun
When you LOVE someone
When you LOVE someone - you'll feel it deep inside
And nothin else can ever change your mind
When you want someone
when you need someone
When you LOVE someone...
When you LOVE someone - you'll SACRIFICE
Youd give it everything you got and you wont think twice
Youd risk it all - no matter what may come
When you LOVE someone
Youll shoot the moon - put out the sun
When you love someone

because love moves

"the person you love the most has the best capacity to make you the happiest person in the world...
but may also give you the worst heartache you can ever imagine.."
and im speaking through experience :(

Blog Tag

finally came up with the hidden things about me that i can share :)

>>>hate cockroach<<<

i hate cockroaches! and i think most people do, but what is different with my case is i only hate them when they fly..i terribly screams if i see even a single cockroach flying on the area where im at and it scares the hell out of me when it lands on me even without skin contact and just on my clothing.

>>>ripe mango on the go<<<

ripe mango has always been my favorite fruit.. i love anything that was made out of it like mango juice, mango tiramisu, dried mango, mango flavored ice cream, mango pastillas and i even make it as an (ulam) in a rice meal as in ripe mango alone can be a great substitute for a true ulam for me.

>>>crying my heart out<<<

crying is my outlet about almost anything, i cry when im happy, i cry when im sad, i cry even when im just like listening to a sad song. i easily get affected with the lyrics, i cry with the characters on telenovelas and movies, i cry when im mad with a person (but i do that when im alone as much as possible), i do it so i wont keep the hate and anger towards the person so it will be much easier for me to forgive.. in short iyakin ako, d lang halata..

>>>mama ate to the rescue<<<

i am an ate and a mama to my 11 year old brother, my dad stays in bicol and my mom in laguna so i look over and take care of him and it is not that easy to raise a (super kulit) kid, i also cried at a certain point already because of (kasasaway) but then i love what i do because i love him so much (",)

>>> sleepless days and nights<<<

i dont know for sure but i think i have insomnia, before when i was still on the night shift i seldom get enough sleep. lucky me if i get 4 to 6 hrs sleep in a day, i even took sleeping pills just to overcome my sleepless days but still it affected my performance at work. i got a lot of CCFs that time because of lates and absentses, being absent became an unintentional habit for me because i usually feel not ok due to lack of sufficient sleep and so what the management did is they transfered me to the morning shift just to save me from getting terminated, my shift got changed (thank god) but sometimes the sleepless nights (now)(unable to sleep even though you're doing and thinking nothing) still remain.

>>>stranger than fiction<<<

i have this strange phobia with firecrackers (fear of loud noise) since childhood upto now, especially those which explode totally loud it is like i cannot breath, i cannot think clearly, and my heart palpitates like crazy when im under attacked.. i fear from it that it made me hate december 31 which is sad because my family are all out for the celebration and there i am always locking myself in a room (most inner part of our house) where the sound will not be that too disturbing to my ears..i dont know, it's really weird and it's really affecting me, i just hope that i can conquer this fear, it may sound silly for some but it is true.

>>>eat veggies more / drink no more<<<

"drink moderately" as what coach ron said, we normally hear it in radios and watch it on TVs well for me it is "drink no more", alcoholic drinks are NO NOs. though i used to drink before. 2 years ago i was diagnosed with peptic ulcer. i did undergo tests like gastroscopy and colonoscopy (without sedative or anesthesia) imagine that, you can try to check how the procedure is being done and i tell you, if your doctor tells you that u can no longer drink such things (u still can actually, if you're really a pasaway) then u would really follow it because of the tests that they did. they found some polyps in my large intestine (non-cancerous) which i again thank god for and so i was also advised to eat more veggies for more fiber intake which i never did before (i hate veggies as in i hate it..), but now i evetually got to like it (masarap pala) not because i need to eat it but more on im also enjoying eating it and i think i can live as being vegetarian too. so i guess people who will get to read this tag wont ask me anymore why i dont drink. :)

>>>old school<<<
i think ive shared this with few of my team mates already that we use CHARCOAL IRON at home to iron our clothes, obviously by the name itself, it uses charcoals in producing heat. we've been using it for couple of years now and got used to it as well. :) we decided to use it because of one main reason. ELECTRIC BILL.

must try

i would like to try fruit teas next time :-)

some of their best sellers: Nai Cha, Taro, Black Forest and Choco milk teas

there were times before during our team building when we eat at chowking, i always get to see coach shei ordering some sort of a beige like colored cold drink, i never bothered asking her what it is, what does it taste like or even asked what is it called until last month, i think it was, when i got to try this Tea Zone milk tea..i and my boyfriend were strolling in the mall when i suddenly crave for a pearl drink so we went to look for ZAGU but then my boyfriend tried to stop me as it might trigger my tonsillitis so we just looked for something else, and so we found this Tea Zone tea drinks. they have a lot of flavors for milk teas and fruit teas..2 of my favorites are taro and nai cha (like chowkings i think). it can be served hot or cold. they dont use blenders so it is not made out of crashed ice (which is a yes yes for me) :-) , they just put some slightly crashed ice enough to make the drink refreshing, what they do is they just mix the powdered milk tea i think it is and whatever flavor you will be choosing in a shaker and shake it just like what a bartender does then pour it into a glass with black pearls (sago) on it and that's it, and i dont know but i really like it, i like the presentation of how they prepare it and of course the taste it really tastes good. the thing is that they only have 2 branches as i remember the crew told me, one is here in victory mall caloocan and the other one is somewhere in makati, so no wonder if they are not that known yet and one more thing the price is very affordable (sulit) as they usually say it.
